Indoor Soccer

GMSA will not be hosting an indoor league this season, and mostly likely, we won't be doing so going forward.

Our indoor league ran for the last decade at the facility in Southaven next to Snowden Grove, until last year. We contacted them last November, around the same time that we normally had done, to give them our schedule and number of teams, and they basically said that their own league had gotten too big, so therefore, they wouldn't have room for us anymore. They yanked the rug out from under us, giving us no warning, and didn't even give us that response until we asked. A really crappy way to do business, quite frankly. Needless to say, we have no plans to go back to a facility that treated us so poorly.

That said, since we started running our indoor league in 2007-2008ish, several more indoor facilities have sprung up around town that are also running their own leagues. So trying to shoehorn an additional league into facilities that are already pretty full doesn't make a lot of sense. If you're looking for a league, check with the PSI facility on Walnut Grove, or either of the Greenfield Arena locations (midtown area on Willett, and the East Memphis location near 1-40 and Sycamore View.)
